What is GLD's Policy for Repairs?

 

Custom Item Repairs

  • Custom item types typically have the word 'Custom' included in the title, but also consistent of:
    • 3D Photo Pendants
    • All Font Pendants (e.g., University Font, Bubble Font, and more)
  • Custom items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • GLD offers a 30-day Quality Guarantee for all customized jewelry, covering defects in craftsmanship or breakage due to manufacturing defects.
  • If eligible, you receive a one-time free repair within 30 days of delivery.
  • The 30-day Quality Guarantee will be void if user damage is detected, including:
    • Water damage
    • Accidental breakage
    • Missing stones
  • After the 30-day period, repairs are available for a $49 repair fee (may vary based on damage extent).
  • Any water damage voids repair eligibility.

 

Solid Gold Repairs

  • Solid Gold items are final sale.
  • GLD offers repair services for a $99 fee.
  • Water damage is not eligible for repair.

 

Watch Warranty & Repairs

Standard 1-Year Warranty

  • Covers defects in material or workmanship, including:
    • Hands
    • Dial
    • Watch movement
  • Does not cover:
    • Battery damage
    • Case, strap, or bracelet damage
    • Stone damage (unless covered under the Extended Service Plan)
    • Accidental damage, improper handling, or normal wear and tear
    • Unauthorized service or modifications
  • After the warranty period, covered repairs can be performed for a $49 fee.

 

Watch Extended Service Plan (ESP)

  • Available for purchase within 30 days of the original watch purchase for $99 USD.
  • Extends the warranty by one additional year.
  • Includes a one-time stone replacement.
