How to Remove Links from Your GLD Watch

Follow these steps to remove links from your watchband and adjust its size:

 

Step 1. Prepare

Set up a clean workspace - Gather a soft cloth, the watch link removal tool, and the pin pusher that came with your order.

Step 2. Identify the Links to Remove

Choose the links to remove and locate the pins on the side of the band. Follow the arrows inside the links, which indicate the direction for removing and re-inserting pins.

Step 3. Remove the Pin

Use the watch link removal tool to push the pin out slightly in the direction of the arrow. Then use the pin pusher to fully remove the pin, tapping lightly if needed.

Step 4. Detach the Link

Separate the unwanted link once the pin is removed.

Step 5. Reassemble

Align the remaining links and insert the pin in the direction of the arrow. Tap lightly to push the pin in almost all the way. Then use the watch link removal tool to secure it in place and ensure it is properly aligned.

Step 6. Check Fit

Try on the watch to ensure it fits and adjust if necessary by repeating the steps above.
