How to Determine Your GLD Ring Size

To ensure the best fit for your GLD ring, we recommend using either the String Method or the Paper Method. Below are the detailed steps for both techniques.

Method 1: String Method

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

  • String: A piece long enough to wrap around your finger.
  • Pen or Marker: To mark the string.
  • Ruler: To measure the string in millimeters.

Step 2: Measure Your Finger

  1. Wrap the String: Take the string and wrap it around the base of the finger where you’ll wear the ring. Make sure the string is snug but not tight.
  2. Mark the String: Use the pen or marker to mark the point where the string overlaps.
  3. Measure the String: Lay the string flat and use the ruler to measure from the end to the marked point. Record this measurement in millimeters.

Step 3: Find Your GLD Ring Size

  • Match your paper measurement with GLD’s ring size chart to find your size.

Method 2: Paper Method

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

  • Paper Strip: A narrow strip of paper (about 1 cm wide and 10 cm long).
  • Pen or Marker: To mark the paper.
  • Ruler: To measure the paper in millimeters.

Step 2: Measure Your Finger

  1. Cut the Paper Strip: Ensure the strip is narrow enough to wrap around your finger.
  2. Wrap the Paper: Wrap the paper strip around the base of your finger where you’ll wear the ring. Make sure it’s snug but not too tight.
  3. Mark the Paper: Use the pen or marker to mark where the paper overlaps to form a circle.
  4. Measure the Paper: Unwrap the paper and use the ruler to measure the length from the end of the paper to the marked point. Record this length in millimeters.

Step 3: Find Your GLD Ring Size

  • Match your paper measurement with GLD’s ring size chart to find your size.

By using either the String or Paper Method, you can easily determine your GLD ring size and ensure a perfect fit.
